Safety Poster Contest

Caldwell 4-H members entering the Safety Poster Contest familiarize themselves with safety risks in and around their homes and communities. By sharing information about injury prevention and encouraging people to change their behaviors, they can help protect their families, neighbors and others in their communities. Entries for the 2023 Caldwell 4-H Safety Poster Contest are due to the Caldwell 4-H office by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10.

Rules

  • Choose a specific safety topic for your poster, for example fire safety, food safety, internet safety, distracted walking.
  • Create a poster using any color 22 inch by 28 inch poster board.
  • Write your name, age, school and grade on the back of your poster in the upper right corner.

Scorecard

  • 25 points for originality.
  • 25 points for neatness of work.
  • 25 points for safety information.
  • 25 points for eye catching design.

Entries submitted after November 10 will not be eligible for first, second or third place awards. Ribbons will be awarded to winning posters. This contest is sponsored by the Caldwell 4-H Foundation.
