Is it hard for kids to remain healthy during a time of social distancing?
During this time, try new healthier lifestyle ideas as we practice social distancing. Do not panic, social distancing is simply keeping a safe distance from others outside your household to prevent the virus from spreading. Even though we are isolated from family and friends, there are still ways to keep in touch with loved ones and become healthy at the same time!
Start a zoom exercise club. Each day you and your loved ones can get on zoom while each of you work out from the comforts of your home. While exercising, you will not realize your friends are not there physically because you all are having a wonderful time communicating virtually.
Enjoy quality family time. Now that everyone is in the house together, it is also easier and more convenient to find ways to spend time together. Grab that old Wii console, and “Just Dance!”
As a family, try new recipes too. Since most food places are closed, this is the perfect time to take out all those pots and pans collecting dust in the cabinet and spice up your kitchen. However, when planning all these things, remember the 3 W’s.
