Live Healthy Houma has teamed up with the parish to implement a pocket park during demonstration weekend which will take place December 13th and 14th of 2019. This pocket park is important as it will help to increase physical activity in our community residents. Though this is only temporary, we hope the public responds well to this and it will be included in the Parish’s master plan. The parking lot that we are using for this pocket park is located on the corner of Grinage and Main St. The park will be open from 8:00AM- 6:00PM each day and will have seating and activities including a movement maze, sand pits, ping pong, and corn hole.
