Researchers study role of color in jewel beetles

(Video 06/12/19) One of the most colorful group of insects in the world is the jewel beetles. These iridescent insects are beautiful, but some are destructive, such as the emerald ash borer. Researchers at the LSU AgCenter are trying to unlock their secrets as it pertains to color to help develop control measures.
