Let’s talk about arthritis! Arthritis affects many Americans and leads to a great amount of pain that is caused by inflammation in the joints. Arthritis cannot be cured completely by medication and there is no sure way to prevent it. Despite this fact, nutrition is a great way to combat the symptoms of arthritis. Certain foods have been linked to have anti-inflammatory properties, which has been shown to alleviate pain caused by arthritis. And because arthritis is sometimes caused by excess body weight causing pressure on joints, one of the best possible prevention is to lead a healthy lifestyle and consume nutrient dense foods that help us to lose excess weight or maintain a healthy body weight.
