Elizabeth Jordan has been an administrative coordinator in the Caddo Extension office for 22 years and has been a dedicated volunteer for 36 years helping hundreds of youth and parents in Louisiana. She initially began her time with 4-H as a school club leader and then served as the leader of the Quatrefoil Club. As the organizational leader for the Quatrefoil 4-H club for 21 years, Elizabeth has provided a means for youth who are home schooled or in schools which do not have 4-H in traditional school settings. She encourages her youth to be officers, participate in group decision making, communication, service-learning projects, peer to peer and group interaction all the while developing life skills. Elizabeth currently serves on the Caddo Advisory Leadership Council, Caddo Parish Fair Board, and volunteers at the Louisiana State Fair. She continuously provides monetary support to the Caddo Parish Fair Board and Caddo 4-H Foundation. Having raised $1200, she and her clubs were able to sponsor the very first Clover 5k. She is frequently crowned as the “record book queen” for Caddo parish given the numerous awards and trips she has earned and won. She is a member of the board of directors for Woodman of the World Chapter where she has served as secretary and state delegate. Additionally, she is a member of the Caddo Volunteers for Family and Community Association.
