(Video 03/29/18) Two icons in Louisiana agriculture were recently inducted into the state’s Agriculture Hall of Distinction. Margie Yates Jenkins, a nursery owner from Amite, and Pierre “Pete” Lanaux, a sugarcane farmer from Edgard, were recognized for their lifelong dedication and contributions to the agriculture community.
