Caldwell 4-H 4 Star and Scholarship Submissions

Submissions for the 2025 4 Star 4-H Member Award, 4 Star Junior Leader Award and applications for Caldwell 4-H Scholarships are due Monday, March 31, 2025. Caldwell 4-H members who are interested in 4 Star 4-H Member Awards will submit an application along with their Louisiana 4-H Portfolio to the Caldwell 4-H office. Portfolios are not required for Scholarship applications.

Record-keeping is an important part of every 4-H educational project. Many awards, educational trips and college scholarships are given to club members on the basis of their records and project work. Records show your 4-H club work progress. Keep a portfolio from year to year and add to it. You may include up to three years of your 4-H work in your portfolio. The 4-H Member Record Book is designed to help you keep your records and other supporting materials in an orderly manner. Do not alter the basic format of the portfolio and Record Book and remember to include your 4-H project book(s) or project leaflets. Louisiana 4-H has created Making It a Record Year, a resource packet that includes examples and tips for completing the 4-H Member Record Book. For more information, contact 4-H agent Jana Bennett at 318-649-2663.
