4 slices whole-wheat bread 4 tsp margarine, light Salt & pepper as needed |
1. Cut a 2-inch square hole in the center of the bread. 2. In a skillet, heat margarine until it foams. Put the slice of bread in the skillet and break the egg into the hole. Cook slowly until the egg white is set. 3. Turn over with spatula and cook on the other side until the egg is done. Serves 4. |
