A Look at 4-H Camp 2008

Kale Kirkland placed 4th in the rifle competition at camp. Toler Beauchamp won first in the archery competition. Both 4-Hers qualified to return for a state shooting match in August. Ashton Gibbon mixed pizza dough in the F.I.R.E. (Food is Really Exciting!) track. Clarenisha Layton was ready to ride during bicycling, which was a new activity at camp this year. Nadia Whitfield made a memory book during arts and crafts. Gabrielle Eschete and Alex Badon practiced at the archery range.

Naomi Smith represented West Feliciana in the camp talent show. Keely Folds rolled out the crust for a pizza which would be baked outdoors in a box oven made by the campers. Jay Offutt in a game that was part of the team building activity. Nicholas Riente getting ready for a jump into the camp pool. Junior counselor, Marie Rider, helped groups of campers in their educational tracks and other activities.
