The State 4-H Service-Learning Record Book Contest took place in Baton Rouge in July 2014. The contest was open to any parishes or 4-H clubs that completed a service-learning project this past year. The state 4-H Records Judging Program recognizes the high-quality service-learning programs that include all the steps of the service-learning cycle: needs assessment, community involvement, preparation and planning, meaningful service, evaluation, celebration, youth voice and reflection.
The top state Service-Learning Records Competition awards were given to the following:
1st ($100) – Vernon Teen Leader Club
2nd ($75) –Vermillion Jr. Leader Club
3rd ($50) – Morehouse Jr. Leader Club
Congratulations to all who had successful programs this year!
