What are your plans after college? To continue to work with children in some way shape or form.

Why did you want to be camp staff? I just genuinely love working with kids and making a difference. You never know what kind of home they are coming from and regardless of if it’s a good or a bad one, no harm can come from some extra love and encouragement. Besides, it’s a great time to promote the 4-H program and all the good things it can do for youth!

What inspires you? A lot of time it’s the kids I work with. They are some of the most resilient and inspiring lot. Many of them have lived through worse things than I have and their positivity and excitement regardless of that is inspiring. In addition, I love it when they get excited over learning new things. It inspires me to keep doing what I’m doing because I know it’s making a difference.
