The CENUSA Bioenergy's August's Bioenergy Friday Web Seminar will be held Aug. 30th at 10 a.m. (Central Time) and will cover “Ethanol Use in Legacy Engines.” This webinar will look at the interaction of ethanol with different materials found in older engines. The speaker is Edwin Brokesh of Kansas State University. In addition to talking about the interaction of ethanol with different materials found in older engines, Brokesh also will talk about the combustion process and what that may mean for the operation an older engine.
The goal is for participants to come away with a better understanding of the care and maintenance of an engine using ethanol containing fuels.
