LSU AgCenter & La. Sea Grant will hold a free Recreational Fish Pond Management Workshop on Tuesday May 13, 2008 from 5:30pm to 7:00 pm at the Jean Lafitte National Park/Lafourche Parish Library Building, 314 St. Mary St., Thibodaux, La. Topics will include design and construction, habitat development, water quality, turbidity control, fertilization recommendations, liming procedures, stocking rates and combinations, responding to fish kills, managing diseases and population balance, weed identification and control, and deterring predators and pests.
