Student Performs at SU Livestock Show

On January 19, 2008, Percy Taylor, a fourth-grader at St. Helena Central Elementary, participated in the St. Helena Parish 4-H Livestock Show. There, he took 1st place in showmanship and Grand Champion in the Commercial Doe Goat class,
By qualifying the the parish livestock show, Percy was able to compete against other youth throughout the state of Louisiana.at the Southern University Livestock Show on March 3, 2008. He was the only exhibitor from St. Helena Parish.
He placed 10th out of 16 goat exhibitors and received a ribbon and a stipend. .
Congratulations to Percy for doing a great job representing his club, parish and state.
