Biotechnology Regulatory Services USDA Regulatory Permitting and Compliance Workshop

Assisting the biotechnology industry in complying with U.S. regulations for genetically engineered (GE) organisms.

What Will Participants Learn?

The workshop is structured in an interactive format enabling participants to:

  • Understand the regulation of GE organisms
  • Understand the differences between permits and notifications, and how to apply
  • Gain step-by-step knowledge of the USDA APHIS regulatory risk assessment and compliance inspection and enforcement processes
  • Learn about compliance assistance opportunities
