Postdoctoral Researcher

(Intraguild Competition)

(This is a grant-funded, non-tenure track position. Funding must be available for any continuation of appointment.)

WORK LOCATION: Department of Entomology, LSU AgCenter, Baton Rouge, LA.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Funding is currently available for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of stink bug intra-guild competition.The successful applicant will conduct research at the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center Department of Entomology.The scientist will be expected to publish the results of his/her research in refereed journals and to pursue extramural funding.Funding is currently available for 6 months and will be extended for 1 year if monies become available.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: PhD in Entomology or related discipline.Experience in soybean IPM, ecology, and insecticide toxicology is preferred.Proven ability in diligent documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of experimental data is required.
