Summer 4-H Camp Track Instructor
(Outdoor Skills - Archery)
WORK LOCATION: Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center located in Pollock, LA
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This individual will serve as the lead instructor who teaches archery and outdoor skills subject matter in a track format to an audience of up to 50 youth at a time, ages 9-12, in a camp setting. This person will be responsible for meeting with two other assigned camp staff before and after track time each day. The instructor will provide safe supervision of youth and support 4-H professionals in conducting meaningful educational experiences to help youth develop life skills. Works under the direct supervision of the 4-H Camp Coordinator, and cooperatively with the Camp Director, to implement all policies and procedures of the LSU AgCenter and the Louisiana 4-H Youth Development program.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary: $3000.00 for the ten-week period. Housing options are available on site subject to availability and job responsibility. Meals and snacks are also available.
DATE AVAILABLE: May 22-August 1 2018. Work hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm, plus prep and clean-up time. The camp is not in session the week of June 18-22, 2018. Must attend required training sessions the week of May 14-18, 2018.
