Summer 4-H Camp Track Instructor
(Nutrition and Fitness)
WORK LOCATION: Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center is located in Pollock, LA.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This individual will serve as the lead instructor who teaches nutrition and fitness subject matter in a track format to an audience of a maximum of 50 youth at a time, ages 9-12. This person will be responsible for meeting with and mentoring two other assigned camp staff before and after track time each day. The instructor will provide safe supervision of youth and support 4-H professionals in conducting meaningful educational experiences to help youth develop life skills. Works under the direct supervision of the Camp Director to implement all policies and procedures of the LSU AgCenter and the Louisiana 4-H Youth Development program.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary: $3000.00 for the ten-week period. Housing options are available on site upon request, availability, and job responsibility.
DATE AVAILABLE: May 22-August 1, 2018. Work hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm, plus prep and clean-up time. The camp is not in session the week of June 18-22, 2018. Must attend required training sessions the week of May 14-18, 2018.
