WORK LOCATION: LSU AgCenter Louisiana House and Horticulture Hill Farm Facility, Baton Rouge, LA, School of Plant, Environmental & Soil Sciences, LSU AgCenter, Baton Rouge, LA.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The position is responsible for maintenance of the Louisiana House landscape and grounds and management of the Horticultural Hill Farm facility on campus. This individual will be responsible for plant selection, installation, hardscapes, and regular maintenance such as fertilization, pesticide application, pruning, and mowing. This individual will also coordinate and assist in extension and research activities with horticultural crops at these locations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, or a closely related field. Ability to work with others is essential.
