Dining With Diabetes

The Dining With Diabetes classes being offered by LSU AgCenter, Ouachita Parish helps adults at risk for type 2 diabetes, who are pre-diabetic or who have diabetes, and their families/caregivers learn how to manage their condition through menu planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control, and label reading. Participants have the opportunity to sample healthful foods using the concepts taught in class.

The 4-part series of classes will begin October 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. and continue for the following 3 weeks on Monday. Cost is $35 and is open to the public. Call (318) 323-2251 by September 28 to pre-register. Seating is limited!
