4-H University is the premier 4-H event of the year for 4-H members 13 and up.
This year marks the 104th annual celebration and will be host to both new-and-improved contests as well as the traditional contests, plus nine Clover College tracks, educational programs and campus tours.
Formerly called 4-H Short Course, 4-H University has expanded to offer both competitive and non- competitive activities along a range of interests from theater arts to technology.
There are 37 contests offered in the competitive track providing individual and team competitions in demonstrations, interviews and project related examinations.
For those 4-H members who lack the time to devote to preparing for state competition, or are looking for greater opportunities in leadership, citizenship and life skill training, CLOVER COLLEGE is for YOU!
Twelve program tracks covering a broad spectrum of interests have been developed offering outstanding hands-on workshops and group activities.
Delegates may participate as an individual representing his/her parish, or form a team of two or more members who work together to plan program ideas for their school and community.
Training for contest participation will begin in May. Some training will be offered on a regional basis. Check with the 4-H Office at 323-2251 for dates and times.
