The LSU AgCenter was proud to host over 300 Lincoln Parish 4-H members, leaders, parents, and volunteers as they learned “Be 4-H Fit – Practice Fitness” at the 2017 Lincoln Parish 4-H Achievement Day held May 11, 2017, at the North Louisiana Exhibition Center. 4-H members from 13 schools throughout Lincoln Parish took part in various activities, which included the 4-H quiz bowl, 4-H club song, yell, banner, and t-shirt contests, and a test was given on fitness. The theme, “Be 4-H Fit – Practice Fitness”, was carried out through the day with “Fit Bit”, the 2016/2017 Lincoln Parish 4-H hamster mascot there to help. We were honored to have Dr. Vicky Green and Elizabeth Bryan, both with the LSU AgCenter, as our guest speakers.
