The LSU AgCenter will implement the Livestock Quality Assurance and Ethics Certification Program for the 2013 livestock show season. Certification can be earned by taking an online tutorial and printing out an affidavit of completion. All exhibitors must submit a copy of their affidavit for each specie they will be exhibiting along with their entry card.

When the website is first accessed, exhibitors will complete a general Quality Assurance and Ethics tutorial. On completion of this tutorial they will be allowed to print an affidavit showing they have completed this portion. This affidavit must be signed by exhibitor and a copy must be turned in at time of entry.

There are additional tutorials for Beef, Sheep, Goat, Swine, Dairy, and Poultry within the QAEC program. Upon completion of each tutorial, the exhibitor will be able to print a copy of their certification showing they have successfully completed the Livestock Quality Assurance and Ethics Certification. Exhibitors will be required to attach a copy of their signed affidavit and certification to their entry form at time of entry.
