6th Annual Crying Eagle Invitational

St. Martin Parish 4-H Shooting Sports was well represented at the 6th Annual Crying Eagle Invitational which was held in Lake Charles on Saturday, February 15, 2014. The event is sponsored by the Calcasieu Parish 4-H Club. These events are used as fund raisers for the parish and also as a competition to help the members prepare for the district, regional and state competitions that are held later on during the year. St. Martin Parish had 16 members who participated in various archery events and 6 members who participated in various shotgun events. The results for the St. Martin Parish participants are as follows:

JUNIOR COMPOUND
1st Place – Craig Guidry
Participants: Kelsie LeBlanc, Gabe Dumatrait, and Conner Guidry

SENIOR COMPOUND
Participants: Luke Boyer, Keirsom Patin, Silas Barras, Logan Angelle, Kali LaGrange, Caitlin Champagne, and Chandler Patin

JUNIOR BARE BOW
2nd Place – Braelon Taylor
3rd Place – Beau Weber
Participants: Xavier Stewart and Hailey Champagne

JUNIOR SIGHTED RECURVE
1st Place – Braelon Taylor

SENIOR SIGHTED RECURVE
1st Place – Elliott Bernard

SENIOR SHOTGUN – ADVANCED
Participants: Gabe Liebert, Krista LeBlanc, and Koby Touchet

JUNIOR SHOTGUN – MODIFIED TRAP
Participants: Craig Guidry, Gabe Dumatrait, and Jacob McDaniel
