Biarnetta Bell, 4-H Program Assistant, chaperoned a group of 4-H club members from St. John Parish to visit the state capitol in Baton Rouge. 4-H members and volunteers from around the state gathered on the steps of the capitol as Louisiana state senators and representatives welcomed the next generation of leaders. 4-H'ers had a day of fun and learning.

St. John Parish 4-H members who attended include: ZyRon Wilson, Deshontay Morgan, Amir Rios, Logan Bukaske, Wyatt Hill, Devon Batiste, Devvon Batiste, Irinesha Bailey, Victoria Hebert, Conteca Cook, Keshaun Cook, Caleb Booth, Kendra Snyder, Keenan Williams, Makala Borne, Ijha Miller, Kyra Thomas and Keondre Robertson. Also in attendance was Sandy Guillot, East St. John Elementary 4-H Leader.
