Parents await results from the contests in the State Evac Shelter.

The Central Region  4-H Commodity Cookery Contest was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the State Evac Shelter in Alexandria, Louisiana. Eleven parishes participated. Those parishes were: Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Evangeline, Grant, LaSalle, Pointe Coupee, Rapides, St. Landry, Vernon and Winn parishes.

4-H'ers participated in  Seafood, Rice, Pecan, Sweet Potato, Poultry, Beef and Egg Cookery Contests. The results on the first thru third place winners can be found here.
