4-H Horse Clinic

This clinic is for the novice to intermediate youth rider who would like to improve their riding skills, horse handling skills and learn about horse health. Registration limit is 45 youth participants and 15 adult horse project leaders. Adults participate with their horses and learn how to help their 4-H members become better horse handlers.

The clinic will be held at the "Mac" Morehouse Activity Center, 9525 Marlett, Bastrop, LA from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2011. You must be a 4-H member or leader to participate. The cost is $30.00 and includes lunch, T-shirt and horse stall.  Sessions include:  Speed Events (poles), Break Away and Show Preparation, Equitation/Horsemanship. 

To register, please download the registration form below. Registration is due Nov. 4, 2011, and is on a first come, first served basis.
