The Louisiana 4-H Food & Fitness board invites you to join them for a Disney-themed showcase of healthy living workshops and learning fun! The camp kicks off on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. and concludes by 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011.
The workshops and recreational activities are planned and conducted by the Louisiana 4-H State Food & Fitness Board members. A very special evening event is also being planned at which campers are encouraged to dress as their favorite Disney character!
It is easy to register. Just complete and submit the registration form and health forms attached below along with camp fees to the 4-H office. Adult and Teen Leaders can also sign up for chaperone training.
Fees include a camp T-shirt, lodging at camp and three meals (Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast.)
What you need to know:
* Fees: $40.00 per person (camper, adult or teen.)
* Campers must be 9-12 years of age.
* Adult chaperones must be Overnight Chaperone certified.
* Teen Leaders must be Camp Counselor certified.
* Camp T-shirt is included in fees.
Overnight Chaperone Certification for adult volunteers includes a basic screening process and in-parish workshop.
Teen Camp Counselor Certification includes a parish, regional or state-sponsored training workshop.
Both training opportunities are available upon request at any parish LSU AgCenter office.
