4-H Citizenship Camp:  Operation LA Connections

The 4-H State Citizenship Board is offering an exciting opportunity to whip you into shape while learning more about the special needs of our military heroes and their families. Don't miss this chance to get involved in a BIG way in support of this year's 4-H state-wide service initiative.  The deadline is November 15, 2013.

The camp weekend is planned and lead by the State 4-H Citizenship Board - teen leaders from all over the state along with adult volunteers and 4-H faculty. Here's what you can expect:

*  Meet new people
*  Enjoy cabin-style camping
*  Take part in fun and interactive workshops
*  Learn more about servant leadership
*  Get some real hands-on training to become a better

Registration is $75 per camper  and $25 per adult.  All adult participants must complete a free online training program for Overnight Chaperone Certification. Participants are responsible for arranging personal transportation to and from camp.  Contact the 4-H Office for details at 318-574-2465.
