2013 4-H Day at the Capitol

Twelve Jefferson Parish 4-H youth and eight adult volunteers visited the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge earlier this summer for “4-H Day at the Capitol”, joining hundreds of 4-H members, 4-H volunteers and parents from throughout the state. While at the State Capitol, members of the Jefferson Delegation visited with Senator Conrad Appel, Representative Robert Billiot, Representative Patrick Connick, and Senator John Alario, Jr. Members of the Jefferson group were also able to visit a committee hearing with Senator David Heitmeier.
