The Iberville Parish 4-H Cloverbuds had a jolly ole’ time at their Gingerbread Christmas Funshop on December 14 at the LSU AgCenter. While the Cloverbuds were decorating their gingerbread houses, Santa Clause arrived for a "surprise" visit toting a sack full of presents. During the workshop, participants enjoyed listening to Christmas music and playing games. Afterwards, they snacked on Christmas cookies and fruits while enjoying hot chocolate and homemade lemonade.

Funshop participants included: Deniya Morgan, Marcus Carter and Alex Brown from Dorseyville Elementary. Ava Leger, Parker Jackson, Anna Claire Campbell, Olivia Sanchez, Maggie Dunn, Analise Gaudet, Amelia Gaudet, Leanne Bueche, Braedyn Rogillio, Clayton Rett and Amelie Blanchard from St John Elementary. Kalaeb Greaud and Myracle Harris from North Iberville Elementary. Claire Cox, Kaylee King, Reese Carbo and Lyndsy Joseph from MSA-West. Program Assistant Kathy Jones, along with volunteers Susan Persilver, Lisa Jackson, Susan Simoneaux and Karen Fitzgerald assisted members at the funshop. Elise Jackson, 4-H member from St. John also volunteered her services at the funshop.
