Fall Fun Day was held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Iberia Middle School. 4-H'ers participated in the Beef, Seafood and Rice Cookery Contests. Cookery contestants presented their prepared dishes from scratch using a recipe.
In the Bicycle Rodeo, contestants participated in live obstacle courses making sure helmets were worn for safety.
4-H'ers also participated in workshops. A healthy living workshop allowed participants to make a healthy smoothie snack while riding a Blender Bike to encourage physical activity. A Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) workshop challenged participants to build the tallest freestanding Marshmallow Tower to promote engineering, geometry and team building skills.
During the community service project, participants created 3D snowflakes to donate to local assisted living homes.
