4-H Challenge Camp

Evangeline Parish 4-H'ers have the opportunity to attend Challenge Camp April 15-17, 2011.  Applications are due in the 4-H Office no later than Friday, Feb. 25, 2011.

For:
7th and 8th grade 4-H Club Members

Where: Camp Grant Walker Educational Center, Pollock, Louisiana

What: Challenge Camp, an exciting weekend filled with challenging games and activities.

Goal:
To challenge 7th and 8th graders to set high personal goals as a result of the activities presented that weekend.

Fee:
$55.00 per person for camp fee, (two nights with five meals and simple nutritious snacks, transportation, and accident insurance.) A Challenge Camp T-Shirt is included.

After the application deadline of February 25, 2011, you will be notified by letter as to whether you have been accepted or if your name will be placed on a waiting list. If there are cancellations, this list will be used to fill these openings. If you still do not go to camp, your money will be refunded.

This camp is open to all 7th - 8th grade 4-H'ers regardless of race, creed, color, sex, or origin.

Challenge Camp is designed for students on the 7th & 8th grade level. We hope to help you develop, a positive self-concept, better decision making and communications skills, and also have FUN doing it. We want you to realize how much potential you have and how much you can do.
