In this article you will find information about the Calcasieu 4-H Jr. Livestock Program, the Showmanship Clinic and upcoming shows. We have around 400 exhibitors and around 800 animals in the 4-H Livestock Program in Calcasieu Parish.
4‑H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn.
The 4-H junior leader experience is designed to provide members with the opportunity to learn about the qualities and competencies needed to be a leader.

The Calcasieu-Cameron 4-H Horse Club is a project club for 4-H members from Calcasieu and Cameron parishes who would like to learn more about horses.
The Calf Scramble contest is held in conjunction with the Southwest District Livestock Show in Lake Charles at Burton Coliseum. It's open to all 4-H and FFA members in the southwest district. Applications are due January 4th, 2016 at the Calcasieu 4-H office.
