The 4-H junior leader experience is designed to provide members with the opportunity to learn about the qualities and competencies needed to be a leader.
The forest products industry contributes to each parish economy in several ways, including jobs, wages and purchases in the local economies.
In this article you will find information about the Calcasieu 4-H Jr. Livestock Program, the Showmanship Clinic and upcoming shows. We have around 400 exhibitors and around 800 animals in the 4-H Livestock Program in Calcasieu Parish.
4‑H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn.
