Undergraduate Scholarships

The application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships serves as the application for all university and college scholarships available at LSU for entering freshmen. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and financial need. Students should complete the application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships by November 15 of their high school senior year for full scholarship consideration. To complete the application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships, please click here.

The Food Science department also offers several other undergraduate scholarships that are announced in the fall and spring semesters to Food Science and Technology majors. These scholarships range from $500 to $2,000 per year. For more information on these scholarships, please contact the department at 225-578-5207.

The Institute of Food Technologists offers highly competative scholarships for Food Science majors at all levels, which are announced in the spring semester. One of these is for high school seniors planning on majoring in Food Science in college.
