Nutrition research project needs pregnant women participants

Carol Lammi-Keefe, professor in the School of Human Ecology, is recruiting pregnant women in the Baton Rouge area to participate in a study evaluating the fat content in breast milk of women with gestational diabetes. To qualify this must be their first pregnancy in the past two years, and the participants must plan to breast feed. Lammi-Keefe is looking for participants who have gestational diabetes and those who don't. Participants will receive $80 at the end of the study and a nutritional analysis.
