With support from Greater New Orleans Louisiana Master Gardener volunteers, Bella Rosa tomato transplants were put in the ground in New Orleans on Friday, March 21, as well as the irrigation system which was installed by LSU AgCenter research associate Bobby Williams. In addition, rows were built, fertilizer was incorporated, and irrigation and black plastic were installed at the Burden Botanic Gardens location in Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 22.
