2014 GSD International Distinguished Achievement in Agriculture Award

The Distinguished Achievement in Agriculture Award is given to a Gamma Sigma Delta member who has made great achievements/contributions to agricultural and related sciences at the state, national and/or international levels in teaching, research, extension, or other distinguished service such as administration. The nomination letter must specifically describe accomplishments over the past five years; however, lifetime achievements may also be considered in making this award. Such distinguished contributions may have been in any field so long as it was directly or indirectly related to agriculture.

One member or a team of members may be nominated from each chapter for this award. The chapter shall assemble information clearly showing how agriculture or the related science has been or will be affected by the research or other service provided by the individual(s) nominated. The Nomination form is in Microsoft Word and is setup to input some information in table boxes and type other information after the requested information.
