Deer Management Program Set For Sept. 10

LSU AgCenter wildlife specialist Dr. Don Reed and representatives from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will conduct a seminar on deer food plots and tagging on Monday, Sept. 10.

The program will begin a t 5 p.m. at the Bossier Parish Courthouse Annex in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Building on the east side.

Reed will talk about food plots and other management strategies, and Rick Adams, district conservationist, will discuss conservation programs relating to wildlife management.

There is no cost, but anyone who intends to attend is to register by Sept. 7 by calling (318) 965-2326.
