Keynote speaker Dr. Rick Rigsby told 4-H’ers at the June 21 evening assembly to adopt the wisdom of their parents to make an impact in life, not just an impression. Participants in 4-H Fashion Review are judged on their ability to design and make garments, but they also "strike a pose" and show them off for other 4-H University participants. Louisiana 4-H officers are elected each year during 4-H University, and campaigning, with some help from friends, is a serious part of the process.
