| | 4-H and FFA members from across Louisiana participated in the LSU AgCenter Livestock Show Feb. 5-12. Approximately 3,700 young people qualified for the state show by participating in earlier parish and district competitions across Louisiana. In total, nearly 5,500 animals ranging from pigs to poultry and lambs to beef cattle were expected to be shown. The annual event determines the state champion animals in various breeds of beef and dairy cattle, goats, hogs, poultry and sheep. |
