Louisiana Corn Forum Set For Jan. 23

RAYVILLE – The 2004 Louisiana Corn Forum is scheduled for Jan. 23 at the Rayville Civic Center in Rayville.

Registration for the meeting begins at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9 a.m.

Topics to be covered during the half-day session include information on corn varieties, as well as production updates, provided by Dr. David Lanclos of the LSU AgCenter’s Dean Lee Research Station in Alexandria.

Other items on the agenda include presentations by LSU AgCenter faculty on such topics as early season fertility management, weed control, insect control, corn prices and outlook, and the LSU AgCenter’s Master Farmer Program.

The forum ends with a sponsored lunch.
