AREAS OF CONCENTRATION 

Food Processing and Technology
Required Courses (16 hrs.) – ANSC 3053 or PLSC 4032; FDSC 3000, 4086; DARY 4020; HORT 4051.

Food Chemistry and Analysis
Required Courses (15 hrs.) - CHEM 2001, 2002; DARY 2085, 2093; FDSC 3000; HORT 4096.

Food Safety and Applied Microbiology
Required Courses (14) – BIOL 4110; FDSC 3000, 4163; DARY 4020.

Food Business/Marketing
Required Courses (18 hrs) – choose from either 1) {ACCT 2001; ISDS 1100; FIN 3715; MGT 3200; ECON 2035; MKT 3401}; or 2) {AGEC 1003, 2003, 3213, 3413, 4403; MGT 3200}.

Note: Students may not take more than 27 hours of degree credit in either major or minor area courses from the E. J. Ourso College of Business.
