Welcome to the LSU AgCenter's Rosepine Research Station

The Rosepine Research Station has a long history of service to the citizens of west central Louisiana. Located in rolling hill country, the station devotes its resources to conducting research in the areas of: management systems for beef cattle and development and evaluation for forage crops in grazing systems. Research projects are comprehensive and often have joint collaboration with other branch stations and departments on the main campus in Baton Rouge. One of the highlight events each year is the station field day and association field day. This event is conducted each May.

The LSU AgCenter's Rosepine Research station is always open to the public during business hours, and we extend to you our welcome to visit anytime you are in the area.
