About Northeast Research Station
(Video) The Northeast Research Station near St. Joseph in Tensas Parish lies on some of the richest agricultural lands in the state. Much of the research centers on row crop production related to cotton, corn, wheat and grain sorghum. Rice management systems and weed, insect and disease controls are also examined at the station. The silt loam and clay soils of the region make agriculture a key component of the area’s economy. |
