About Hill Farm Research Station
(Video) Pine trees, poultry, beef cattle and forage crops share research space at the Hill Farm Research Station in north Louisiana near the Arkansas border. One glance around the facility and it’s not hard to see where the Hill Farm gets its name. Scientists also conduct research on minimizing nutrient run-off from land and protecting water quality. Erosion is a concern in Louisiana’s hill country, and researchers are working on ways to minimize land loss. |
