Carbon Credit Conference On May 14, 2008, the LSU AgCenter hosted the Carbon Credit Conference in Alexandria to provide landowners and natural resource professionals with an understanding of the emerging carbon trading market. Presentations attached provided information on the environmental rationale behind the development of a carbon cap-and-trade market and how it works, which forest and agricultural management activities can produce carbon credits for sale, and potential changes ahead for carbon trading. |
