Field day participants viewed research results at different stops. Mr. Jack Dillard, farm columnist with The Shreveport Times, opened the field day with a discussion of his perception of the changing times in agriculture in north Louisiana and how the Hill Farm had responded to those changes. Dr. David Boethel, Vice Chancellor and Director Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station, welcomes the group and adds his perspective about change at the Hill Farm to Mr. Dillard’s comments.
