Current responsibilities: Manage and maintain Central Research Stations maintenance shop; prioritize and schedule repairs of tractors and vehicles; repair or advise on equipment requiring major services such as engine overhauls, transmission and hydraulic repairs; supervise and manage mechanics, research specialist; maintain accurate equipment inventories; provide assistance in field repairs as necessary; supervise forage production for the LSU Dairy Science Department livestock; manage all aspects of corn silage and rye grass production; purchase supplies and materials; prepare and maintain winter pastures.
